Mayor of Mercer
142 Mercer Street is where the greatest journey of my life began. Before it was Lure Fishbar, the address was home to a restaurant called Canteen. It was here that I met my wife, my current business partners and where the title Mayor of Mercer was first coined. When Canteen closed and we opened Lure Fishbar in the same space, we knew we wanted to create a place where your neighbors know there is always a table waiting for them (or that we will make sure they’re happy while they wait!). Soon after Lure, we opened B&B Winepub right around the corner and then El Toro Blanco just a few blocks away. Lure Miami opened in December (branching out to new neighborhoods) and this summer we will unveil our newest addition to the neighborhood, Bowery Meat Company. On any given night you can find me presiding over my kingdom as I run back and forth from each restaurant or take some of my best customers for a spin on my custom black bike (I call it “The Bull”). Whether you’re in the mood for seafood, sushi, bbq, mexican or steak, come on down to my neighborhood. Tell them the Mayor sent you.
